There will be bugs. Please send me email to: meandraco.gamedev@gmail.com when the game stops working. I will be on standby for a week again to fix all the bugs that get sent my way. You can also send corrected dialogue files if are adept at fixing the scripting/writing errors yourself, just send the fixed file to the email and write a note on what you fixed.
As I create fixed versions of the release I will post the new versions on this blog post and update the download link in the blog header.
You might want to delay playing V2 before few bug patches are applied to it, if you want best possible experience.
The debug tools are currently disabled and will be enabled again in a future bug patch.
The savegames made in earlier versions will not work in 2.0
The savegames might at first seem like they're working but they will break questlines and dialogue trees. Do not use old saves.

DeleteAnd 6 points into the 2 top fighting stats. Yo win fights you need to buy axe and get knife from tavern. During fight you combo with axe/knife kick/knife axe/slal kick/slap knife/slap/slap etc. With this build you should have all or most of the dialoque unlocked and barely deafeat every enemy.
Shouldn't have any useless slaps in your deck if you learn leg sweep from Taulsol.

DeleteSince there's no saves and dev command seems to be gone an easy way to get all stats is to do a group scan with Cheat Engine.
ReplyDeleteJust search for 4:4 4:4 4:4 4:4 4:4 4:4 as first scan, change the first stat to 6 and search 4:6 4:4 4:4 4:4 4:4 4:4 for next scan and you should find the correct address to edit. Allocate all stats in game, finish tutorial and then you can change all the stats once you're done with the Witch.

DeleteAfter Nkaanmykiunsuns offers you cuddles and you chose the answear: "Sure", the new location is loaded but nothing else happens. I see no dialogue and I can't click to force it to appear.

DeleteUnfortunately yes. This game needs basic progression and level up system badly. For example, winning the fight gives you X amount of exp and you need Y amount of exp to level up. When you level up you get 1 point to assign to any stat.
DeleteIn general having high charisma and intelligence help a lot. For example without 8 charisma you can't unlock romantic option with Naigad.
How do I go to the other island
ReplyDeleteIf by that you mean the island with red trees, progress Shyni's storyline. However, it appears to me that it's either not finished or the game freezes as once you get to one scene, no text appears and nothing happens. Might be a good idea to wait for MD to bugfix it.

ReplyDelete-A male going down the lake with Naigad will instantly freeze up the game with the purple screen. I'll try and check soon on my female run.
-Sometimes scenes on male-on-male with Niirds go haywire and have the end come up first, only to then repeat the whole scene a final time.
-Scene with Snek freezes up, "No_corrensponding index for handjob 1" at least on my male run.

As a shy suggestion, any chance you'd add some way to repeat scenes with characters. I'm burning out of hard drives.

There game is easy and you can kill everything.

Beat her at the beach cave then she roams around the coast. Beat her then and try to catch her, you fail but then you buy a rope from the smithy. Do the same thing, but now you can catch her. Can't remember if there was rapey options but if there were I chose the generally nicer side of rape, and then when you find her again she becomes a reoccurring sex scene until "something" happens.

DeleteOn the side note this game makes me save almost every time I talk with a new character ^_^' This game has so many ways you can lock content accidentally.
I don't even know how to get the dagger you guys are talking about. I remember she used to throw a second one but now I can't seem to get her to throw it no matter what. Only the first one which has an attack that straight up does 0 damage to Caenaemung.
Delete@Lev thats why later ill try modding in Exampla in the tavern. I plan to make her a "repeat scene" NPC (if its possible). If everything works as expected it shouldnt matter what were your choices, you'll be able to repeat all the scenes of the characters you've met.

Deletei know you need 10 strength to reel in Caenaemung with a rope, first time i roped her she kept pulling the rope out of my hands (with 8 strength), made another character but with 10 strength, beat her in the cave, and beat her on the shore, i have the rope but never get the option to toss the rope to try to catch her.

You need agility 8 and intelligence 6, strenght 10 and a rope. By the way you can check those stats in game files. Open character folder and study .txt files :)

ReplyDelete-Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Teraurge\database\characters\kwumui
-Inside that there's 3 folders called f, m, and q
-Copy each of those folders into the respective character folder e.g. kwumui_f, kwumui_m, kwumui_queen
-Rename the copied f, m, and q folders into pictures
-Next time you encounter them there will still be missing pictures stuff but you'll see the sex pics now
Also if you're having troubles with Sulie you gotta change a 1 into a 2 in her diag_pondsex.txt file.

Since Shyni doesn't want to "share you", are there currently any consequences to engaging in multiple relationships? If not, is that a feature that will be implemented later on?
Lastly, please let there be more interactions with the ferals, especially these new kwumui cuz I mean come on those lips
It would be great to see Caenaemung visting the player on the coast from time to time regurarly to spend intimate time with PC and make more babies. Perhaps during one of her visit she would show her and PC's hatchling if the player made her pregnant and she took the egg with her to the sea before she left. It would be interesting to develop her character furhter, because she is clearly intelligent and understand PC, but she can't speak out loud. That means PC and her relationship would have to be built on mutual trust and through actions. Thanks to that her behaviour would have been more alien an unique comparing to other characters in Teraurge.
DeleteI also wonder if/how game will handle the fact you can have intimate relations with so many characters. I see Naigad as an option to have serious relationship. I'm not sure about Sulie, because I can't get that to work properly in 2.1 (and other issues like not being able to save). Shyni on the other hand doesn't mind having sex with another woman if PC is okey with that.
IDK if Caenaemung hatchlings would make an appearance since hybrids in Teraurge end up looking like a 50/50 split of the parents, and Caenaemungs head with a humanoid body and black coloring might lead into some copyright infringement territory. Like IDK if Fox is anything like Nintendo but probably best not to have xenomorphs in the game.
DeleteLike MeanDraco could go in a totally different route and make Caenaemung a species where all the babies just end up like the mother or make the hatchling more humanoid looking with less Alien Queen head thing going on and still have a serpentine body.
I don't know what's the lore regarding offsprings from interspecies pairing in Teraurge. Well, there wouldn't be any problems with copyrights, because you can make whatever black humanoid alien as long as is not looking exactly like Xenomroph.
DeleteI assume Caenaemungs' hatchling will be just her species for pregnancy safety reasons. I think her prgnancy was inspired by xenomorphs, which use other species dna to make new xenomorphs. She is compatible with human dna after all.
I really want to know whay the MC's and Bykaas's hideous mutant offspring look like.
DeleteWell we have one hybrid example in the game so far with Vuisul and IIRC from her backstory she's the only one of her kind since her parents were different species and she's a mix and match of their looks.
DeleteI think the fact that everyone that's sentient and can talk seems to be aware that creampies equal pregnancy means anyone can impregnate/be impregnated by anyone cause of the "Understanding" or junk and the offspring is half and half of their parents if Vuisul is any indication.
Like a bunch of characters are aware that they can be knocked up by inter-species sex and either just accept the risk or only fuck with bitter water. Only reason why I think only creatures that the "Understanding" works on can impregnate/be impregnated by other "Understanding" blessed creatures is the fact that Sulie has been fucking ferals willy nilly for however long and doesn't have a baby bump yet but the moment we come up we need bitter water to fuck that snake puss.
Ok, so i download the game and i'm able to run it, but the moment i go to new game and the customize screen pops up none of the buttons work, like the stat point arrows (dont know if they are supposed to work or not) the filter on/off buttons, nor the start game button even when i run it as an admin, is anyone else having this problem?

DeleteSo I've discovered the culprit: you cannot save the moment you first hit the overworld, you have to return to the Witch for a second scene or go to town first it seems. Maybe some script has to fire off and that's why? Either way, I can confirm I'm able to save now, but I had to move a little further in the game first. Fwi in case anyone else had the same issue as me.
DeleteI think its connected to the "keyboard tutorial" you get on screen after leaving the Witch without skiping the convo. You need to wait a specific in game time for that tutorial to disappear from screen, after that you should be able to save.
DeleteThis has been true to all the versions so far. Just move a few steps until the "keyboard" disappears and then you can save. You don't need to go back to the witch either, just walk halfway towards the village and then you can save.
Deleteand just a heads up, moving around the map with the mouse will not trigger the on screen keyboard to disappear, you actually have to use the keyboard for a while to trigger it.

And those who had to censor adult stuff still have an option to restore it through unoficcial patches. Dunno how this thing works with gog, but I believe there can be similar workaraounds with it as well.

ReplyDeleteHey! I just yesterday gave a buggy version of the V2.10 executable to some of the chat members that help me test things. The 2.10 is supposed to be the extremely late mini update. The development is slightly complicated because of the drastic UI and code changes planned for V3 and 2.10 being developed between V2 and V3. The V3 progress is going well.
